We are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor / Foreperson for our depot at Shropham.

This role involves being responsible for overseeing all Engineers, Drivers and Yard Operatives at the depot and the checking and control of paperwork between depots whilst fulfilling our excellent service standards at all times.

​

This position is full time and is very much a hands-on role whilst leading a team. Flexibility in respect of working hours is expected as is an availability to work the companies on call out of hour’s rota.

Required for this role:

• Ability to plan and allocate work and equipment for hire

• Knowledge of diesel engines

• Competent in fault diagnosis and repairs

• Good time management, ability to organise, prioritise and delegate work under pressure

• Attention to detail

• Equipment checks

 

Desirable:

• Someone with previous experience within a similar role but this is not essential as training will be given

• Knowledge of generators and experience within a supervisory role would be an advantage
